  • Journaling/self-reflection to music

  • Reiki for self-care and a guided meditation

This retreat for juniors at Minnetonka High School will be held at the Eastman Nature Center (Dayton, Minnesota). I will be teaching four gentle yoga class that highlight relaxation, breathwork, and meditation, each about 40 minutes in length. Student who participate will alternate between yoga, snowshoeing, and learning about essential oils.

Mindfulness is the practice of being present with things as they are. It promotes not just individual wellness, but also healthy relationships and a more compassionate world. In this workshop participants learn about, and get a chance to practice, each of the four foundations of mindfulness: mindfulness of the body, mindfulness of the feelings, mindfulness of the mind, and mindfulness of the phenomena.
