Bhikkhu Pannakara
Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra, also known as Thích Tuệ Nhân, is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk and vice president of the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center in Texas. He is known for barefoot peace walks that promote nonviolence, mindfulness, and compassion, including a 112-day pilgrimage in India and a 2025–2026 Walk for Peace from Fort Worth to Washington, D.C. His walks often include Aloka, a stray dog who became his companion during his India pilgrimage.
